Ama Dablam

Ama Dablam means "Mothers necklace", the long ridges on both sides are like a mothers arms protecting a child and the hanging glacier is the dablam - the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods worn by the sherpa women. Ama Dablam is considered the most beautiful mountain in the world.

Cho Oyu

The 6th highest mountain in the world. Cho Oyu means "Turquoise Goddess" in Tibetan. Located on the border between Nepal and Tibet.

Imja Tse / Island Peak

April 2016

Appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche in Nepal. The peak is actually an extension of the ridge coming down off the south end of Lhotse.
